This does exist. It is called the SNAP Update CD - but it is only currently available from Customer Engineering (it's not a "supported" product yet, although Dell are working towards this).

They have 3 different OS CD's :-

- Windows 2000/2003
- Novell/RedHat
- DOS (bootable)

And these update :-

- PERC
- Firmware
- NIC
- OpenManage
- BIOS
- ESM

Basically, it's a 3-step process. The CD runs OMCLEAN to remove any OpenManage products first, reboots, then the 2nd step is the updates (drivers/firmware, BIOS last), another reboot, then the 3rd and last step is the OpenManage installation. Followed by, yes, a reboot.

They commit to releasing updated CD's to you every 3 or 6 months, based upon your needs.

I can't comment any further as I'm still awaiting some test CD's to try out.
