Bootable Software Update Utility?
Is there any way to update the Firmware of my PE componets via SUU or something similar without running the Operating system? Its rather bugging to create a bunch of floppy packs for every single component.

You are aware that the SUU can be autoran from the OS and doesn't require any floppy packs. You can stick the CD into a server and it will inventory the server and install the updates needed.
The other way is to use the current version of the OM server agent and ITA. Inventory the servers and then push updated to a group of servers via ITA.
Ask your Dell Team to have a webex of the current features in OpenManage 4.5
