Can I use HP SCSI Smart array 6402 raid controller in my Poweredge 2850 ?

So.. questions.
Performance of build in raid controller is very POOR.
I want to use HP raid controller in my server but i dont know how ho to connect it to backplane and which cables i can use for this task. Is it possible at all ??
Can anybody help me?

Great question and the best answer is maybe.  The real problem is that the SA6402 will NOT boot in a non-HP/Compaq server.  You can use it as a secondary controller, but not the primary.

I have do it!
I didnt use smartarray controllers becouse they are too large (very very long) for this servers, instead i use adaptec 2130S.
U can see result on graph. result for percraid 4e/di was very low - about 60 Mb /sec
I do know that this test is not intendent for raid but i dont have time for intel iometr.
