Can I use PC3200 memory with Celeron 2.0GHz processor?

Yes you can. However this will not change the speed of the CPU.

Yes, understood...  just curious if it is okay to mix memory speed and CPU FSB speed.  I have registered RAM that doesn't work with the 400SC.  So mad....!!!

I always buy PC3200 ram so that if I want to upgrade later to 3.2 ghz with HT I can without needing new ram.


Its like PC100 vs PC66 SDRAM. You can always use the faster ram but it won't make your cpu faster.

PC133 SDRAM USED to be compatable but now its not downward compatable.
