Cannot access KVM console screen on the m1000e
Hello,
Everything is fine and the system comes up and we can access CMC from both the LCD front panel and web-based administrative page.
The only problem is that we keep getting an alert/dialog with message "user has been disabled as front panel is currently active". The KVM cables (keyboard,mouse,display) are connected to the front slots (USB & Display).
How can we make the warning go away so that we can access the server list.

Chris,
Thanks for the pointer. That is actually what I initially tried just yesterday (unchecking the box for that option in the iKVM setup page and clicking apply)- this is the error I got: "Operation Not Successful: Error=0x0001". What should I do next?

Anathi Keswa,
I would start by ensuring that Front Panel USB/Video Enabled is not selected during iKVM configuration via the CMC. Otherwise, connections made at the front of chassis will take precedence over the connection at the rear, preventing the iKVM from working correctly. When it is enabled you will see the error you received.

Could you confirm the CMC version for me, is it currently up to date? Also, have you run the KVM update as well, located here.
