Is there a separate syntax for Blades and Standalone boxes like R820's?
I don't think non-blade servers have asset tags to configure, so this command appears to be blade only.
The -m switch designates the module you want to configure. If you do not specify the module then it will assume you want to program the chassis. To change a specific blade server you will specify the module with -m server-4 where the number 4 is replaced with the server number you want to set. You can read more about this in the iDRAC CLI guide:

This command should change it, just substitute the ?s with your desired tag:
racadm setassettag -m chassis ??????
