CPU temp after upgrading is too high.
Hi,
On my DELL PowerEdge T620 I upgrade CPU to Xeon e5-2670. I Use 056JY6 Dell PowerEdge T620 Heatsink.
CPU temperature is 70 °C (158.0 °F) Is it normal temperature for cpu or something is wrong?

Jimsss,
Indeed 70 C is on the high side, as the Warning Threshold for the T620 is 85 C, but is still within limits. On average though the temp is around 40-45 C. One thing I would look into, if only using the single CPU, is if the CPU #2 blank and heatsink blank is installed. Both are required for cooling, and may explain why the temp is running on the warm side.
Let me know what you see.
