CPU upgrade for PowerEdge T410
I have a PowerEdge T410 with a Xeon e5607 quad core processor. I would like to upgrade it to the e5620 processor also a quad core processor. I would like to know if the motherboard will handle swapping it out. My goal is to have the increased processor speed of 2.4 GHz. Many thanks.

The e5620 processor is supported on the T410, the svc kit for the processor is part number Y1N09, the processor alone is part 60HT4. Due to the age you will likely need to get it from your Sales Rep, or from Spare Parts at 800-357-3355.
