Dell POWEREDGE R720 updates
Hello
We are planning to perform server/firmware updates on Dell POWEREDGE R720.
Currently this server is running Redhat 6.10, BIOS - 2.2.2 ,Server BIOS 12G.
Please advice what all firmware need to be updated and what are the recommended upgrade paths to take.
IDRAC is inaccessible via network so we tried to update to 2.2.3 bios from Dell and encountered below error;
Package version: 2.2.3
Installed version: 2.2.2
BIOS Update is not supported using Dell RBU method.

Hi, thanks for choosing Dell. Do you have the link where you downloaded it? What’s the version?
Another thing you can do is you can update with LC (Lifecycle Controller)
