Dell PowerEdge R740 Erase Data

Question

Hi All,

I have Dell PowerEdge R740 with RAID5 array built of 8 disks.

I need to erase all data with no recovery possibility.

Would Standard Disks (Overwrite Data) work for me?

Also, why Cryptographic Erase Disks option is greyed out?

it_tech_22,   The reason why the option is greyed out is probably because the drives being used are not ISE-capable drives or they are not in a Ready or Non-RAID state. The Standard Disks (Overwrite Data) option is used for all other types of drives, except for ISE-capable ones.   Let me know if this helps.
