Dell R630 Boot External DVD
Hi All,
I don't know if this has already been answered, I'm new to the forum. My server came without an OS, and I'm trying to get my server to boot from an external DVD with OS disk, and it's not showing up as virtual media. Please help!

Hello
All of the boot settings are in the BIOS System Setup. You can set the boot order form there. USB boot devices are considered hard disks in the boot order. If the USB is not the first device in the boot order then you will need to enable Hard-Disk Failover.

USB devices are not considered virtual media.
