DELL System Update 2.1.2.0 - failing on all servers "Could not get the inventory"
Would be good to know if there is something I am missing on this. All our servers are now failing with the "Could not get the inventory" for DELL System Update v2.1.2.0. Even the servers that were working are now failing, I thought it was just a newly built server being an issue.
If there is fix for this I would be interested to know please?

I should add, this is for the Windows command version rather than iDRAC. iDRAC appears to be working as expected.

Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention, we do appreciate it. We are currently investigating 2.1.2.0, but in the meantime there does look to be a workaround for it.
What you will need to do is essentially download the older inventory collector, which can be found here, and when you run DSU you will need to set it to point to the older collector by running the following command
Command: dsu --ic-location="C:\Dell\invCol_WIN64_X5K4G_25_09_00_10_A00.exe"
That should resolve the issue for now, until the update is corrected or replaced.

Thank you, that did the job. I'll wait for the next update now to correct the issue.
