DIMMS are not installed consecutively
Hello
I recently removed some RAM from a PowerEdge 2400 as I suspected it was faulty. I now have 2 DIMMS installed instead of 4.
When I reboot the box I recieve the error message 'DIMMS are not installed consecutively' and I have the option to either press F1 to continue or F2 for setup.
If I press F1 the box boots fine and runs without problems.
Any ideas?

DIMM Installation Guidelines:
Starting with the socket nearest to the system board's back edge, the DIMM sockets are labeled "DIMM_A" through "DIMM_D". Install a DIMM in socket DIMM_A before socket DIMM_B, socket DIMM_B before socket DIMM_C, and so on. If you install different sizes of DIMMs, install them in order of descending capacity, beginning with the highest-capacity DIMM in socket DIMM_A.

Hi, thanx for your quick reply.
I can't believe how thick I've been, checked it out and you were right, I had them installed in the wrong order - how stupid!
Thanks for pointing this silly mistake out to me.
