Disk upgrade raid 1
Hi
Not sure if I'm in the correct group, if not, please let me know.
I have a Power Edge T110, Raid 1 - one is 500Gb, the other 1TB.
I am looking to upgrade the 500 Gb to 1Tb.
Question: Should I
1. shut down server
2. remove the 500 GB disk,
3. put if new disk,
4. restart, and the raid will rebuild? (some posts says that I will only see 500Gb for both 1Tb disk)
Advice, please.

Yes, Only 500gb will be visible from 1tb drive after rebuild. To expand storage, unplug your 1tb drive and plug it in other sata port, also second 1tb drive in other sata and not in first 1tb old port, then make new raid1 configuration with this new drives, clone OS from 500gb drive and expand storage from disk management.
