E000 Intrusion Detection Error
I have a PowerEdge 2850 that had been running fine. I removed the cover to replace the raid battery and it's been giving me an E000 Intrusion Detection Error ever since. I replaced the Riser/SCSI raid board which also has the intrusion detection switch with 2 known good working units and still get the same error. Is there a quick and easy way to fix this issue?

1. The error takes several seconds to disappear after replacing the cover, many people don't give it enough time for the error to go away.
2. The ESM may not recognize - or may not acknowledge it on the display that the cover has been replaced. This is common with old, out-of-date firmware.
3. Try clearing the ESM/SEL/Hardware Log. It will reset the log and error status and will only then return if the error is persistent.

Thanks! I'll try this tomorrow and let you know how it works out.
