Error Code E2010 No Memory Found

Hey Guys,

So I have a Dell Poweredge 2950 Gen III. Everything is stock with no changes to anything. I use it for a ridiculous Home server.  I use it with Windows Home server 2011 to store my media. Last night my wife and I watched a movie and went to bed. I got home from work tonight and noticed it wasn't showing on my network. I went over and checked it and Noticed that there was no video on the console monitor. Then I saw the Error Code E2010 No memory on the LCD Display. I haven't changed anything from last night to this afternoon. I have 4 sticks of Dell 1 Gb ECC in it. Any ideas of what is going on? If one stick were to fail would that shoot that error code?

Thanks for any help you guys can give.

Thanks theflash1932, My buddy recomended i remove the right 2 sticks. I did that and it booted fine. Not sure if that means both sticks are bad or just one of them is bad. Thankfully I have a connection on ECC Ram. I just need to go buy more ram.

Likely only one is bad.  You can boot with each in slot one to test which one is the problematic one.  If both of them work in slot one, then either slot 3 or 4 is bad.

Keep in mind that the 2950 MUST use FBDIMM's (Fully-Buffered) ... not regular UDIMM (Unbuffered) or RDIMM (Registered) ECC DIMM's.
