Error E1114 temperature ambient exceed T310
Hello, My T310 server show an alarm on the LCD like "E1114 temperature ambient exceed range". I have setup the LCD to show this temperature, and it´s 45ºC, but it´s not real (it´s about 23 and 26ºC). This is why when I put on the server, the fan go to maximun speed. How can I solved it? It´s possible to change the temperature ambient sensor? Where is it? It´s possible change the range into the BIOS?

Diego1979,
I would start with ensuring that the chassis has sufficient room in the front and back to ensure good airflow.
Verify all required blanks are installed (powersupply, hard drive, DIMMs, fan etc.).
Check the internal system fans for obstructions or damage, and verify all the fans are spinning properly. Swap any failing fans with a known-good fan, and replace the fan if a known-good fan works.
If all of the fans are spinning properly, reseat the power supplies and all internal power connections, the control panel and cable, and then check if the error still occurs.
Check the LCD and ESM/iDrac logs for any power or temperature issues, as well as any other errors.
Lastly, could you confirm if the iDrac and BIOS are up to date and current, if not then what version are they currently at?
Let me know what you see.
