I suspect this may be a failed power supply or maybe the lithium battery is dead. Not sure about the pwr supply - diags seem to indicate all is AOK.
Power Supply 1 Installed Sensor Information
AC on = 1 Installed = 1
Sw on = 1 On/Off = 1
POK = 1 Failed = 0
PS on = 1 Present = 1
Fan Failed = 0
Over Temperature = 0
Fan Speed = 0
Power Supply 2 Installed Sensor Information
AC on = 1 Installed = 1
Sw on = 1 On/Off = 1
POK = 1 Failed = 0
PS on = 1 Present = 1
Fan Failed = 0
Over Temperature = 0
Fan Speed = 0
The server hasn't been touched since it was received and the Blackboard Courseware installed, so is there a link to an upgraded diag program, etc. that would give a more descriptive output related to this error? If so, I'd appreciate a link to those items. I'd like to fix Der Blinkin' Yellow Light on the front panel. The server is still running RedHat 6.2.
Also just for fun, one of the fans thinks it's an Indy car engine - Backplane Fan 0 shows to be running at over 11,000 RPM. I'm not sticking my finger in it. Maybe I'll pull it and use it as a turbo on my drag car.
Embedded Server Mgmt - System Fan Test :
System Board: Fan 0 fan RPM is 3538.
System Board: Fan 1 fan RPM is 3503.
System Board: Fan 2 fan RPM is 3651.
Back Plane: Fan 0 fan RPM is 11151.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
