Hi,

This link will help you find the Microsoft TechNet Database which may help you resolve the problem:

I searched on "Event ID 2012" and found 13 articles:

I read all of these Event ID articles before I posted this message on Dell's forum. None of these seemed to be an answer to the problem I am having. has anyone else actually had this error and found a fix? I did read that my network card may be failing? Is there a diagnostic I can run to test this?

I've got the latest drivers on and have read the KB articles. All of our 2550's running w2k are getting this message as well.

Either this is a bogus message that is being caused by something else, or Dell is having a rash of these things failing :)

I am getting these on HP machines and Dell machines (about 6 total servers are doing this).  I don't think it's bad NIC's and I know it's not Dell specific.  Another solutions are welcome.
