Expand virtual disk perc H330

Hi,

Preamble:

I bought this server is backup appliance, the storage configuration has not made by me.

Description of he problem:

I Decided to increase the disk space of my servers, I replaced, step by step my fours 4Tb disk to 4 new 8Tb disk with out put disk offline before, each time I let RAID10 rebuilding the array.

Now, I try to expand virtual disk but the operation cannot be done.

By reading a other post here (https://www.dell.com/community/PowerEdge-HDD-SCSI-RAID/RAID-10-EXPAND-PERC-H330-POWEREDGE-T440/m-p/7879613/highlight/true#M56857), I find that a expansion cannot be done, because I have 2 virtual disks.

So, what alternative I have ?

Online capacity expansion can be done only If there is a single virtual disk in a disk group and free space is available. If you have 2 virtual disk with in same disk group then it can not be done. One option is where you need to take a backup of second virtual disk, delete second virtual disk and expand first virtual disk. After this you need to recreate second virtual disk and copy the data back.

You can find more details on reconfigure of virtual disk from below link
