Firmware Driver issue with QLogic 577xx/578xx 10 Gb Ethernet
Hello,
Hoping someone here can assist. I'm running into an issue with some Dell M520s. Basically I'm running Red Hat OpenStack Platform 13, doing some basic commands and essentially an OpenStack network command to create floating IPs triggers the BCM 57810 to go into a panic. I've attached some screenshots of what I'm seeing as well as the FW on the BCM. I do have the latest version on. Also, this is happening on all my M520s that I'm using depending which controller gets the request.
Searching on Google, it seems to be a FW issue and the fix has been to update the FW. However, in my case I'm already at the last FW version. Screenshots attached and any help would be appreciated.
Here is the Main Configuration Page Firmware Image Properties of the NIC:
Family Firmware Version: 14.05.01
Controller BIOS Version: 7.14.11
MBA: 7.14.2
EFI Version: 8.0.10
iSCSI Boot: 7.15.0
L2FW: 7.12.25
FCoE Boot: 7.15.0
CCM: 7.14.3
Thanks,
Roger

Via this: https://access.redhat.com/solutions/1749873 , was able to solve my issue. Essentially I had downgrade the firmware to version 7.12.17 and now it is working. Hopefully someone investigates why the latest 14.x version FW doesn't work.
