Firmware Update: OEM ID Module failed RED004

Hello,

we tried to install the ID Module from https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=vdnhh&oscode=ws19l&productcode=oth-r650 on our DELL R650 server via IDRAC web interface and we got internal error.

Do you know what could cause this issue with the installation and how we can fix it?

Some system info:

[Key=iDRAC.Embedded.1#Info.1]
#Build=22
#CPLDVersion=1.0.5
#Description=This system component provides a complete set of remote management functions for Servers
#HWRev=0.01

#Product=Integrated Remote Access Controller
#RollbackBuild=22
#RollbackVersion=5.00.20.00
#ServerGen=15G
#Type=15G Monolithic
#Version=5.00.20.00

Ztevsep,

To start, would you confirm if the server in question is indeed an OEMR650, and not an R650?

Also, I would verify if the BIOS and iDrac are up-to-date. If so then you may want to try performing a racadm racreset on the iDrac to see if that allows the update.

Let me know what you see.
