Hard drive space
I have a Dell poweredge r410 I got everything set up and noticed that I am limited to 2tb of hard drive space I looked on Dell website and it says the r410 can do up to 8tb why am I limited
No Events found!

Hi,
Please send a private message with your service tag to ensure we have all appropriate information on your system.
The 2TB limitation is a limitation of BIOS which uses MBR. UEFI using GPT partitioning will allow you to go beyond the 2TB limit that BIOS has. Here is document with instructions converting to UEFI. Be aware that the OS will need to be reinstalled if converting.

I have the sas 6/ir raid controller I have 1 2tb drive 1 1tb drive and then 2 500gb drives they are all in raid the 2 500gb are in raid 1 and the 2tb and 1tb are in raid 0 my service tag is (service tag removed)
