Harddisk firmware utility does not recognize disk

In a recent support issue with dell suport i was advised to upgrade the firmware for all ST3300655SS drives in all our servers to the latest version, because of some kown issue with drive failures.

After some inventarisation using ITA i found we had 3 servers using this this type of disk. 1 Server (Server4) already had the latest firmware (S52A), but two other server (Server 1 % 2) had an old firmware (S512).

As we recently rolled out System bundel v330 on all server using IT all drives should have been up to date, but i noticed the Disk where not showing up in ITA Software compare on server 1 and 2, so i think this could be the isse why this drives were not updated in the deployment procces. When i look directly in the ITA database the drives are registered correctly.

Next step i tried to manualy run FRMW_WIN_R213177 on server 1 and 2, bu this failed with errormessage : "This Update Package is not compatible with your system configuration.". I suppose the update package has the same issue as ITA on the indentification of the disks.

On further inverstigation i found a difference in theOMSA  inventory.xml  (C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\SysMgt\oma\log\Inventory.xml.1). On the lines for the disk i noticed a differt component ID

Probably this difference in detection is the source of the problem, but does anyone know where this componentID is comming from ?
