How to set Bios time?

Hello, I have a problem that the bios timer is incorrect.

I configured ntp on the IDRAC, how can I change the bios time from the IDRAC or make it sync?

I have a lot of servers and I can not enter into each one bios.

What can I do?

(servers: PowerEdge R7625)

Hello thanks for choosing Dell.

This may help:

Hello, thanks for the response.

But is there a way to do it outside the BIOS? because it will be hard to enter each server BIOS.

I would like to create an automation for that.

Thank you :)

Hello,

unfortunately not, there is a command setractime to set time via idrac but it is only supported by CMC

Hello Amit Halperin,

I do not see a way to set the BIOS date and time programmatically.

You could log into the DRAC remotely and use the Virtual Console to boot into the BIOS and set date and time.

Dell recently brought out a redfish API that supports this. It does require Idrac version 7.20.80.50 and a supported BIOS version to do this redfish call.
