iDRAC card installation

Hi

I've ordered and installed a new iDRAC card (Enterprise license) in my PowerEdge R320 server. I've connected the port to my DMZ network.

However, there is no link on the port, no light flashing.

What do I have to do to activate the card? That server has an iDRAC Express embedded. Do I have to disable or uninstall it before the card is recognized?

Thanks

I got in touch with my supplier, who got in touch with their Dell representative, it seems I haven't got the licenses at first because at the time of the order, no Dell service tag was given.

So I told it to my supplier, and I received my licenses a few days later.

I've uploaded them in my DRACs. Now everything is fine. Thanks Robert

no it says Basic Management and NIC Selection Mode is LOM1.

How do I install my Enterprise license? I've ordered the card and the license through a Dell authorized supplier.

I've tried to reset the iDRAC's default config, and during the reset I can see activity on the port it's connected. But it turns off right after the reset

Thanks Robert

Well it was purchased along with the card. How do I activate it now that the card is installed?

That'd be great, but since there is no activity on the port, how can I access the web interface?

edit: I've installed the Enterprise trial license and was able to activate the dedicated NIC. Now I'm looking after my supplier for the license.

Will keep you posted
