now, this is weird, and I'm posting it just in case it might help someone.

after a few months of being broken, the issue disappeared, no more error messages, I did not do anything, it 'just happened'.

Hello

I would uninstall and reinstall ISM. If that does not correct the issue then review the section in the iDRAC manual about ISM. The iDRAC manual should be on the system and iDRAC support pages.

I thought that I could just repair the installation, that's not possible.

What version of the iSM should I download and install for iDrac 7, on a T420, with Server 2012 OS?

Thanks

3.1.0 is the version I show. It is listed on the T420 support page.

So, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the iSM and the problem persists.

It's just that instead of reporting error twice a minute, it's reported about once an hour, which makes reading the exceptions log possible.

Any other ideas?
