Intel processor model number
I am in the process of preparing an inventory of all our servers so that I can identify which ones will need to be replaced. One of the criteria would be processor type and speed.
The original system configuration tool from Dell identifies the processor with a model number, CPUspeed,FSB speed and other information.
Example:
PROCESSOR, 80532, 2.8GHZ, 512, SOCKET F, 400C1
Is there a complete listing of the 805xx numbers which translates to the actual processor type (e.g. Pentium III, Xeon, etc.).
I found some information at the following site, but it does seem to be complete:
