INTEL X520 DC compatibility
Hello,
Does support R710 this NIC? INTEL X520 DC, not DA2.
Because I have throubless with this device, see the log:
8.000 Gb/s available PCIe bandwidth, limited by 2.5 GT/s PCIe x4 link at 0000:00:06.0 (capable of 16.000 Gb/s with 2.5 GT/s PCIe x8 link)Is this okay?
The ports of NIC can't establish link by using a couple brands of SFP+ modules.
Thanx.

Hi, since the card INTEL X520 DC is not a Dell part we need to know the specification to give you any directions. With a Dell part we normally ask for the part number but this isn't the case.

Marco: Thanx for your investigation.
Can anybody advice me which SFP+ minigbic module is compatible with this HBA card? I tried several brands of 10G modules (up to 10km) but neither has been worked.
Also option allow_unsupported_sfp=1 doesn't work.
Thanx...

Hi the cards you've shown are really old
1. https://dell.to/3Ka9Qdi
2. https://dell.to/3Mja2IP
so I couldn't find the compatibility information on those. Best if you rather go to https://dell.to/3tjHoyQ I'd say, at this point. Sorry I couldn't be of help this time.
