Issue with ReadyRails
We have a PowerEdge R440 I'm trying to get racked up using the ReadyRails system.
The rack is the typical round screwhole type, onto which I've attached the square hole adapters. To these adapters I am attaching the sliding rack rails, and attaching the servers to them.
The problem is, there is a sliding spring-assisted rail that attaches the rails to the back mounts; this sliding rail isn't locking in place when I attach it to the adapters, so if I push against the server (pushing the server into the rack, for example), the clip pops out and the back side of the rail falls free.
I've followed the instructions to the letter, at least as far as I can follow the directions, so I'm not sure what's going wrong.
Anyone else experienced this, can maybe explain how to keep the back from sliding free?

Hi @Wade Cheek,
Do you have the rail DPN# for us to refer?
Just to confirm, are these the rails that you have (No.3)? https://dell.to/3tR79bA
Is there any possibility to make a video of the issue (uploaded in Youtube) or pictures of the rail with the mounts?

Hello Wade,
The A11 is validated for the R440. Did you stab in the rear first?
