Latest Java breaks Console for m710HDs
Hi guys,
The latest Java for Windows has broken the ability to launch a virtual console for m710HDs.
x20 and above servers still seem OK.
Do u have a workaround? (I remember that no workaround ever came forth when 605'/905s broke for the very same cause a couple of years ago)
We have tried IE, FFox, Chrome...all fail with the latest Java (build 1.8.0_31-b13) on m710HDs and before.
Previous Java still works fine for m710HDs.
Browsers are all the latest.
If you have any ideas of a workaround pls advise.
Thx,
John Bradshaw

Hi,
We can look into it, for now continue to use the old version.

Thx Josh.
Does that mean that it will be fixed or a workaround given or does it mean that Engineering won't be fixing that?
(I notice there is another user with what seems to be a similar issue).

They are not telling me if they are planning a fix, so I would plan for it to not be updated, and be happily surprised if it is.

It has been escalated to engineering, but they were not able to confirm a fix.
