Lost basic iDrac licenses after trying Enterprise license

Last year we started using iDracs more seriously, and I applied the trial Enterprise licenses to a number of our R320s/R430s/R440s.  The trial licenses worked great!  We went ahead and purchased Enterprise licenses for the R430s/R630s, but we were told that we could no longer purchase Enterprise licenses for the R320s.

The problem is that the three R320s now show as having no license at all, I can no longer even use the basic featureset that we had before.  Is there a way that I can get the original basic licenses back?

Thanks!

Hi,

Have you tried removing the trial license? The license drop down option, it should have a Delete function.

@DELL-Joey C I don't see that option in the drop-down, it's possible that I already did that. I don't recall for sure.  Here's what I see today:

MikeMN10000,

It should be an option as seen on page 18 here, so you may want to make sure the server is up to date on BIOS, iDrac, etc, and then see if it is listed after restarting.

Let me know if this helps.

Chris, as you can see from the screenshot above, those are the only options I have - in this state the iDrac seems to have disabled basically all of the other screens.  Is there a way that the original licenses I had when the machine shipped can be put into my Dell Digital Locker so that I can re-import them?

MikeMN10000,

That was why I was suggesting that you make sure the iDrac is up to date, because if it is really far back that might explain whey it isn't showing.
As far as the license, if you reply to the private message I sent with the svc tag of the server, your company name or customer number, and your contact details I can look at resending the license, now if you don't know the company name then you may need to consider filling out the change of ownership form.
