Let's try some steps.

1. Turn off and open the M1000e enclosure.

• Make sure the power is completely off before opening.
• Refer to your M1000e manual for safe opening instructions.

2. Find and check the control panel cable.

• It's usually a flat ribbon cable connecting the control panel to the back of the enclosure.
• Look for any cuts, tears, or loose connections on the cable.

3. Reattach the cable securely.

• Gently unplug the cable from both the control panel and the enclosure.
• Clean the connectors if there's any dirt.
• Plug the cable back in firmly on both sides, making sure it clicks into place.

4. Power on and test the control panel.

• Close the enclosure properly and turn the power back on.
• Once booted up, see if the control panel is working now.
