Memory for PowerEdge SC420

Question

Hi, I entered my server's service tag to find which type and speed of memory modules it contained, however I was not able to find a hardware spec list for this specific computer. And when I selected upgrade hardware/memory it displayed a list of 150 different 1 gig RAM moduled for all kinds of bus speeds... How do I find out what memory I *really* need for this box..? regards Tor

Can I mix DDR2 non-ECC memory with the ECC that came with the SC-420?

Memory specs are:   PC3200 - Unbuffered - DDRII - 400Mhz - ECC - 240 pin - 1Gbyte each for a MAX of 4Gbyte.   Can NOT mix non-ECC with ECC.   My system is very happy.   I've got the 'mod' for the PCIe 16x Video card. yay   Running XP Pro, SP2.   ArtGle
