Hello Rafiq

this is third time before this we have replaced motherboard and server working fine

Memory riser errors are usually caused by the memory in the riser or the riser itself. It is possible that it could be a system board issue though. What troubleshooting did you perform to find out what is causing the error? If you are just replacing the system board when these errors occur then you are just clearing the error, you are not likely resolving the underlying problem.

You need to swap the riser and memory around in the system to troubleshoot the error. You will need to swap all of the memory out of the riser reporting the error with another riser. You will also need to swap riser slots. You may need to do this multiple times to track down the problem. The error should follow the faulting device, and the error may take time to occur once it is cleared. This problem will likely take a long time to troubleshoot. Since you have already replaced the system board the failing component is likely either the faulting riser or a DIMM in that riser.

Thanks

Rafiq,

Piggy-backing off of Daniel's comment, definitely swap out the DIMMs in the riser. We have found this is the issue the majority of the time. Obviously, this may take some time, but worth it to go through the process a few times for futures sake.

Sincerely,

Mac
