Thats not a simple answer.  Depends on the environment.

In a data center environment 24 X 7 i would guess 3 years to 5 years average.

Hard drives and Cooling fans and Power supplies fail the most.

If its outside in the desert at over 100 degrees might be a few hours.

If its in a data center with control over dust, cooling, UPS power, etc could be Years.

Also depends on 24 X 7 vs 8 hours or less per day operation.

MTBF numbers are not published publicly by the major vendors. You can sometimes find MTBF from the individual component vendors such as those for RAM and Harddrives .... but DELL, HP, IBM, do not publish MTBF to the general public.

You will have to contact your account rep to get MTBF information under NDA.

The  XEON cpus for example

The failure rate and Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) data is not currently available on our website.

You may contact Intel® Customer Support for this information.
