In the CTRL-M utility, go to View/Add Configuration ... are you prompted to view the Disk or NVRAM configs? If so, what does the NVRAM config show?

If the NVRAM config shows at least one drive as online, then IMPORT it.

If you don't have an valid config that you can IMPORT from NVRAM, then your only choice will be to FORCE one of the drives online.

Thanks a lot for your prompt response, greatly appreciated.

Sorry, i dint notice prompt for Disk or NVRAM config.

My only concern is, I don't want to lose my chance to recover the data through data recovery services ( as i don't have functional backup) in case it does not work if i will force a drive to be online.

How can i force a drive to be online as i am sort of new in this game, i know enough to be dangerous..lol.

Thanks again

if i FORCE a drive online, if somehow it dint work, can this do more bad than good for data recovery?

No, it simply tells the controller to use the config on the drive.
