Non-system Disk

Question

During a reboot I get a console message saying 'Non-System disk -press any key to continue'.  If I press a key, the reboot continues normally but I don't know why the message comes up since there is no disk in either the floopy or CD drives.  This could be a problem if we have a power failure or remote reboot.  Could some please provide some insight to the issue I'm having?   Thanks,   Eric Q. What kind of server it is?, do you have a floppy drive installed in that unit?.

Hello Rob,   It's a PowerEdge 6450 and it has a floopy disk drive installed on the unit.

Go ahead and get it off the boot sequence, I notice that's an issue with the less expensive models. (PE800.. PE830). So it may apply for your case.
