PE 2950 LCD Error Message
Although the LCD is blue, it shows CHK: DFWUTLPRD001
I've tried to look it up, but can't find anything on it.
Thanks in advance for the help..

That is a user-customizable display string, set in the BIOS (or through OMSA). It is usually meant to identify a system by name or designation within a server rack, instead of the model of server (default) ... picture having 20 2950 servers in a rack and needing to find the print server for domain2 ... setting the string to D2Print (or similar) would make it a lot simpler to find the right machine than if all 20 had PowerEdge 2950 scrolling acrossed it.

Error messages will cause the LCD to change amber with the error code. Blue means everything is AOK.

Wow ... that's funny. Earlier I kept getting a message that the post must be approved, and it didn't appear immediately as it usually does, so I just kept trying :)
