The T310 does not support DIMMs over 8GB, so that would be why the first DIMM is not working. There is not enough documented information on the second DIMM for me to guess as to why it is not working. Using 3rd party components that are not validated to work in the system is trial and error.

Here are the only two DIMMs I show listed for sale on the T310:

A6996811 : 4GB UDIMM
A6996785 : 4GB RDIMM

If you contact sales they may have more options available.

the first memory isn't a UDIMM !!! It was a RDIMM memories

I found the "complete" description of the second memory:

and now, I see that it is a dual rank memory and on the manual show that this server only support RAM modules of 4GB / 8GB quad rank memories !!! :-(

Im reading the manual of T310 again... but, maybe I need a correct version of this manual to my server (version before octuber of 2010)... any idea where I can found it ???

I missed the part that it was 2x8GB DIMMs.

If you are going to buy memory that we have not validated for the server then you are going to be testing it yourself. Buy it and try it. If it does not work then you will have to buy something else. Contact our sales department to purchase validated memory. If we do not have the memory available then reach out to Dell Partners. Resellers will sometimes carry stock of items that we no longer stock.
