PE710 not accepting BIOS update
PE710 not accepting BIOS update -
Monitoring software states:: Our monitoring agent has discovered that the SMBIOS data is absent.
Dell OpenManage Software states:: Dell BIOS - No Version number - 1/1/2000
Please help as I do not want this clients server to not boot!!!

Hello
Have you tried restarting the server? I would suggest performing a backup in case it does not come back online. There is nothing you can do to update the BIOS if the OS and iDRAC cannot properly communicate with it.
