Flashed both with the BIOS downloaded for the PE750, they still boot as PE745N's and still wont detect an IDE CD-ROM and i suspect they wont see any SATA drives either.

 

Running A06 now. Any ideas? it feels like it should be working, like theres just something not set right.

 

I was thinking that the PV745's had no CD-ROM and didnt use the onboard SATA, is that possibly why they dont work?

you can forget this (close it or whatever) as the system boards are both totally shot :( what a waste. Still i guess thats the risk with used kit.
