Yes, both CPUs need to be the same revision/version. If the 2620 you have is v4 then the one you add should be v4. The two CPUs should be identical. I doubt the system would POST or the second CPU would function if there was a difference. If you are able to get two different CPUs to function then it would not be a supported configuration.
