Power Edge T 310

Question

I have dell power edge came with 4GB memory . I decided to upgrade its memory to 32GB ( 4x8GB DIMM) . I read in manual that  only RDIMM supports for 32 GB ( 4x 8GB RDIMM) .  I  gave my request to local supplier and he gave me  4 nos of 8GB DIMM  by saying it is the one i am looking for.  The RAM he supplied specs is HYNIX '' 8GB 2R x8 PC3-12800E-11-12-E3''  .  I installed those 4 nos RAM and my server memory upgraded to 32GB without any error. It is working fine from 1 month .   My worries started when i found in google that the supplied  DIMM are ' Unbuffered  ECC '  . Where in manual it says unbuffered  8GB DIMM for 32GB memory will not support. I am now worried will this cause any trouble in future ? and how come my server accepted those DIMM and working fine now.  I  highly appreciate if any one could share their thoughts

Sir,   We bought this server in 2011. So no warranty on this. I will share you the Service tag number once i visit to my remote office.    Regards Vish
