Poweredge 1650 Correctable ECC errors on memory slot WITHOUT dimm inserted
I tested one of our poweredge1650's using memtest86, and proceeded to test with the dell utility memory testing tool.
The tool consistently throws large numbers of "Correctable ECC error, Bank 2 Dimm A" messages, whether a DIMM is inserted in the slot or not.
Any ideas whether this is a sign of a memory bank failure?
