PowerEdge 2550 CD Boot

Hello,

I am trying to install CentOS 5 on a Dell PowerEdge 2550 server.  I have burned the distrubution to an ISO image and tested that image on another server.  However, when I try to boot off the CD on the 2550, it never finds it and fails looking for a boot device.  I have verified that the "CDROM" selection is first in the boot order in the BIOS.

Does anyone know if there is a solution to this?  The newer CentOS boot images are too big to fit on a floppy drive and I don't imagine I could boot off of a USB key on this system.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe the cdrom is bad, cable is loose, etc.  Have you confirmed you can boot to another bootable CDROM?   I know that platform is El Torito spec so it will boot to something if it's 1st boot order.

If it boots to a windows or linux CD....then it's the image and I have no idea how to help with CentOS since I have zero experience with it.
