PowerEdge 2800 Memory Upgrade Fail
Hi,
We have a Dell PowerEdge 2800 server and wanted to increase the memory on it. So I went to Crucial's website and purchased their recommended kit for the 2800 server.

I replaced the memory on the server with the crucial sticks and all I get after booting is the beep code 1-3-2 which I think means no memory detected.
I emailed crucial and they insist the memory is correct for the server. I tried clearing the NVRAM and they still don't work. I decided to give it one last shot here before asking for an RMA from Crucial.
Is there some secret procedure to get these sticks to work or is Crucial just wrong?

Also, there are other restrictions ... for example, if you have dual-rank DIMM's in the first four slots, you cannot use the last two slots. What memory configurations are you trying and what is the exact spec of the memory you actually have in your hand?
