PowerEdge 2950 warm boot failure
2950 server boots ok if completely powered off, but a restart fails.
the server doesn't even seem to do POST but sits there with the power light on and a blank screen.
both PSUs are plugged in, one via UPS. BIOS (latest version 2.7.0) doesn't load.
any ideas of ways to figure out where the hardware error lies?

the KVM is an Aten CS1716i
it happens on every warm reboot
there's another 2950 plugged into the same KVM though and that's rebooting ok.

Rojic9,
Are you using a KVM to connect to this server, if so which one?
Also, is this intermittent or on every warm reboot?
Let me know.

If you separate the system from the KVM, and go with external peripherals, does the server warm boot normally, or still hang? If it hangs does the stand alone monitor show anything on the screen, or still blank? If it is showing, what does the server show is initializing when it hangs?
Thanks.
