PowerEdge 4600 - Front bezel light question
Hi All,
My PE4600 front logo's blue light is lit in the lower half. The light illuminates the "!" area and not in the "DELL" spot on top. My other servers (PE2xxx/6xxx series) have the word "DELL" backlit and not the "!" mark.
I had an on-line chat session with a Dell tech support and he told me that the light on my PE4600 is correctly lit! Is that right? Any input will be much appreciated.
TIAs!!!
Alan

The Dell™ logo lights blue when the system is operating correctly.
The caution icon lights amber when the system needs attention. The amber caution light indicates a power problem, a fan/temperature problem, a hard-disk drive problem, or that the PCI expansion cards need attention. Remove the bezel to determine the source of the problem. There is also an LED on the back of the system provides the same functionality as the bezel indicators.

The odd thing about my PE4600 id that the "!" part is lit up with BLUE light, not AMBER light. The "DELL" part is NOT lit at all.
