PowerEdge 6850 - Memory Riser Cards
Hello. Got a PowerEdge 6850 with 2 Memory Riser Cards totaling 16GB. I want to install 2 more Memory Riser Cards of the same size. Tolalizando 32Gb. These Memory Riser Card is taken from another PowerEdge 6850 he was working. When I turn on the server the message, "Invalid Config MEN C", "D MEN Invalid Config", "System Halted".
Anyone have any solution?

Hi Laurenceaa,
I assume the errors are "invalid config mem". Did you try the old modules plugged into the new riser?

Hello Osprey.
See what I did:
Riser Cards elected to expansion
Riser Cards -> RC1
Memoirs -> ME1
Riser Cards in production
Riser Cards -> RC2
Memoirs -> ME2
When performing the upgrade in the way senguinte server, I get the following results:
ME1 + RC1 RC1 = FAIL
RC2 + ME2 = OK
RC1 + RC2 + ME1 + ME2 = FAIL RC1
RC1 RC1 + ME2 = FAIL
RC2 + ME1 = OK
I checked the memories all of which are the same brand, same manufacturer, same size, same frequency, etc ... All the same.
Thanks for the feedback.
